1. Use of Website
You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only and in a way that does not harm our business or other users.
2. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including images, graphics, text, logos, and designs, is owned by Megan Bowers Photography and protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, download, republish, or use our website content or portfolio images without written permission.
If you are a client, the images delivered from your session are provided to you under a personal-use license described in your session agreement. That license governs how you may use your own photos, including printing and sharing them. The restriction above applies to third parties using our content, not to clients using the images they received.
3. Photography Services
All photography sessions require:
A signed contract
A paid retainer
Compliance with MBP policies
Session fees, pricing, and offerings may change at any time.
These website Terms are separate from your session agreement and do not replace it. Your signed session agreement governs the photography services themselves, including delivery, usage rights, and any session-specific policies. If anything in these Terms appears to conflict with your session agreement, the session agreement controls.
4. Minors
Because we photograph high school seniors, some of our clients are under 18. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian enter into the booking, sign the session contract, and be involved in scheduling and communication.
5. Products and Digital Downloads
All digital files, products, and prints are non-refundable once delivered.
6. Links to Third-Party Sites
We may link to external sites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
7. Limitation of Liability
This website is provided on an "as is" basis, without warranties of any kind. Megan Bowers Photography is not liable for:
Website downtime
Loss of data
Third-party service issues
Errors, delays, or omissions
You agree to use this site at your own risk. Any liability relating to photography services is addressed separately in your signed session agreement.
8. Payments
Payments for sessions or products are processed securely through third-party processors. We do not store full payment information.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Douglas County, Kansas.
10. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
11. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The updated date will always appear at the top of this page.
