You'll join 3 styled group shoots: a Flower Market in spring, an Ice Cream Social in summer, and a Pumpkin Patch in fall. Each shoot has its own theme, props, and look. These photos from my group sessions show the style you can expect.

Your team year is about more than photos. Fun team events and pop-up shoots give you extra time together. It's a space to be yourself and enjoy your senior year.

You'll book your senior session before Class of 2028 bookings open to everyone in March. Team sessions run mid June to early August, before school starts.
FIRST PICK OF SESSION DATES
A SCHEDULE THAT FITS
Group shoots are on weekends. You'll get dates at least a month ahead. You don't have to make every shoot.
A licensed local artist does your hair and makeup before your individual senior session. It takes about 1.5 hours in my studio, at no extra cost. Group shoots do not include hair and makeup.
HAIR AND MAKEUP INCLUDED
Your session runs up to 3 hours with unlimited outfits. Most seniors visit 3 to 4 locations. You'll get at least 70 hand-edited images in a bold, expressive style.

A NOTE FOR PARENTS
I'm a mom to a college freshman and a high school senior. I know how fast senior year moves and how full your calendar gets.
The MBP Senior Team should add fun to your daughter's year, not stress. Group shoot dates come at least a month ahead, so you can plan around sports, school, and work.
Your daughter gets to feel celebrated during her last year at home. I handle the details and direction, so you can simply enjoy watching her shine.
You'll get every detail, including cost, at a parent and senior meeting in February. Parents are welcome to join the VIP list too.

HOW MANY GIRLS WILL BE ON THE TEAM?
The first MBP Senior Team will have about 10 girls. Megan Bowers Photography in Lawrence, KS keeps the team small on purpose. That way, every girl gets real attention at group shoots and her own full senior session.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Class of 2028 girls can apply, which means juniors this school year. The team is open to girls in Lawrence, Topeka, Kansas City, and nearby towns. Applications open January 17, 2027, and VIP list members get the link one day early.
DOES IT COST MORE TO BE ON THE TEAM?
No. The team costs the same as a regular senior session with Megan Bowers Photography. There is no team fee and no membership fee. Your family will get full pricing details at the parent and senior meeting in February.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I APPLY?
Applications close January 31, 2027, and I review every one. If you're a great fit, you and a parent get invited to a meeting in February. You'll hear every detail and get your questions answered before deciding.
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE EVERY SHOOT?
That's okay. You don't have to attend every group shoot or event. Group shoots happen on weekends, and you'll get dates at least a month ahead. Join the ones that fit your schedule.
CAN I USE OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS WHILE ON THE TEAM?
Team members book their senior portraits only with Megan Bowers Photography. School photos and sports photos don't count, so you can still do those. This keeps your images consistent from group shoots to your senior session.
